Reporting to the General Manager, you will help to drive construction building products sales by providing excellent customer service to meet or exceed company goals. This will include:
Customer Relationship and Sales
-Develop positive relationships and serve walk-in and telephone customers in a professional manner. Identify customer needs, educate the customer on products and provide accurate and timely service. Customers and residential and commercial contractors, business and home owners, designers, engineers and architects.
-Review blueprints and do the materials takeoffs for house plans, framing, lumber, windows, etc. Maintain an up to date knowledge of products and pricing.
-Provide quotes and process sales ensuring all processes and deadlines are met.
Staff Relationships, production and sales
-Work as a team with staff and suppliers, ensuring attention to detail in schedule production, shipping and design reviews with the customer.......coordinate the order from start to finish.
-Support outside sales staff in preparing quotes, communicating with customers and coordinating jobs.
-Attend industry related events, trade shows, golf events.
-Attend and participate in weekly/daily sales meetings.
