History

In 1996, Linda Langelier launched Employment Network Canada Inc. with a view to bridge the gap between Employers looking for qualified candidates and Individuals looking for work. Her vision was to increase the hiring success for organizations, and to lessen the stress for individuals during the job search process.

Linda recognized the importance of hiring accuracy, in that a successful match between candidate and employer can make all the difference to employee career progression and to business growth and success.

Driven by the belief in hard work and commitment to results, along with the philosophy of “take care of the people, and the rest will follow”, Employment Network’s clients and project accomplishments grew.

Linda hired her first employee in 1997, established an office location and became involved in the business community in either a board, committee or volunteer capacity.

Today, Employment Network is still driven by hard work and commitment to results. Their philosophy of “people first” continues, not only in the service they provide, but in their own work environment. As a team, they work hard to achieve results, and then take time to learn, have fun and celebrate successes.

Our Mission and Values

Mission:

Our mission is to provide service with a difference to our clients – service that ensures hiring accuracy for both Employer and Individual, and also contributes in a positive, meaningful way to the lives, careers and success of people, their workplace and their business. We offer our employees challenge, learning, fun and the opportunity to take ownership of their roles as an integral part of our business.

Values:

Commitment to our Clients – their success is our success. We listen and learn from our clients, pay attention to detail, and will respond by delivering solutions that exceed their expectations. We will foster relations that are built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. We will deliver excellence, strive for continuous improvement and respond quickly to change. Each of us is responsible for the quality of whatever we do.

Integrity is the foundation of every relationship and means acting responsibly, honestly and fairly. Integrity means to live our values in all we do.

Respect and Diversity go hand in hand, and are vital for personal growth, employee development and business/community success. We listen with an objective, open mind; we ask questions to learn and understand, and we respect the unique qualities of each person, their background, culture, strengths, opinions and thoughts.

Diversity makes good business sense. We are committed to developing a workforce as diverse as the community we serve.

We want to make a difference, with civility. Every person has unique skills, talents and knowledge to offer. Every person is someone’s mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter and deserves a respectful, safe place to work and live on this earth.

We provide Leadership as a company and as individuals. We strive to be a positive influence, inspire others and demonstrate professionalism and ethical behavior at all times. Initiative is second nature to all employees, we are persistent in overcoming obstacles to achieve results, and we constantly evaluate our direction and actions. We each lead through our knowledge, creativity and teamwork.

Employee Commitment

Employees are the heart of Employment Network. By promoting a team environment and a commitment to results, we create a genuine sense of ownership and belonging. By offering challenging work, fun and an opportunity for professional growth, we bring out the best in our people.
